Testimonials

Kristin S.

Michelle’s coaching has guided me through a difficult life transition, in which fear, anger and self-doubt had consumed me.  She taught me the importance of self-care and how to confidently transition through life’s unforeseen challenges.  While triumphs and tears will always be part of life, Michelle has equipped me to thrive with my family and my career.

When I first contacted Michelle, I was feeling insecure and frustrated because my usual patterns of thinking and reacting were taking a toll on me. I was tired of ending up in the same situations over and over and wondering, “How did I get here again?” From the start, Michelle helped me to become aware of my internal dialogue and how I created unwanted situations because of my negative thinking. Together, we made a to-do list of small accomplishments to help me feel a sense of worthiness that I very much needed. Since I enjoy reading, Michelle had several suggestions of reading materials to help me on my journey toward gaining clarity. It has been both surprising and exciting to witness the positive changes that have surfaced while being gently guided along this new path. It has also been great to know that those closest to me have seen the changes too! Michelle has been cheering me on since the day I began working with her. She is both intuitive and sensitive enough to know when to ease up and when to pick up the pace. She has always been several steps ahead just waiting to help lead me toward my next achievement whether it be internal or external. Today, I am more willing and open to accept the changes that are coming knowing that I am more equipped to face these changes head on.

VICTORIA AUGUSTONI

"I began working with Michelle Aulday after my divorce. I was in a kind of limbo, entering a lot of unknown territory, as an adult. Getting back into the workforce, single parent life, and learning that I was worthy and strong.

Within moments of my very first session with Michelle, she had formed an environment, (through her space, her words and her demeanor), that put me in a calming/trusting place to begin my healing process. She speaks with honesty, never tells you what you should do but leads you to find your own answers. Her guidance and knowledge are a testament to her love of this profession.

I am better equipped to handle all that life throws at me now due to her ability to teach me to look at each situation and decide what I need and want. I can not thank Michelle enough for sharing her insight, support, and sensitivity through our coaching sessions."

JUDY HEINEMANN

Following a few major turn of events in my life, I sought the wise counsel of Michelle Aulday’s life coaching services. Like many women who suddenly find themselves empty nesters & without a life partner, I was facing deep feeling of loss, sadness, & loneliness, struggling to make sense out of life. I had really not prepared for , after all I thought my partner & I were going o last to old age. Michelle helped me identify new life goals and reprioritize some I already had & chose to keep. I began to feel better about making a life for myself without a partner. "Focus on you & getting clear about what you want out of life and when you make that a priority, a relationship will compliment your life" she said.

The Anacortes Family Center has a tradition of caring for homeless families in our community. We offer a warm place to stay and safety and support for those who want to work hard and achieve self-sufficiency. While our program helps clients achieve a better future, we also believe in helping clients heal from their past and grow strong for the future. Often we see generational poverty, family violence and untreated mental health issues. Our clients have much baggage to overcome.

Weekly Life Skills classes are offered at the AFC where volunteers (like Michelle) come in and facilitate classes geared toward healing and moving forward. Life coaching. Michelle offered her services as Life Coach at the AFC and volunteered regularly. She facilitated “whole group” meetings related to personal growth, self-awareness and overcoming past mistakes. With Michelle’s guidance, the women were encouraged to explore and question their choices, values, actions and dreams. The women slowly discovered their worth and began to feel more self-confident and more in control. These were very powerful sessions filled with much discussion, revelations, “a ha moments” and positive energy. Clients wanted more and more…the sessions provided a valuable time for the women to learn and grow and accept themselves and their past. Michelle has a gift. She is direct, honest, a great listener and comfortable asking the tough questions. Michelle is a professional and also takes extra time and energy outside of class to offer support to the clients individually. She is a wonderful woman who truly cares about others and can help facilitate ones journey through difficult times of transition or rediscovery. Her move to California was a huge loss to the AFC! We miss her!
